Odyssey of the Seas debuted on July 31, 2021, from Ft Lauderdale! She is the first Quantum Ultra Class Ship! They took the Quantum class design and made it even more incredible!
Let’s get into it! Here are the reasons why I LOVE ODYSSEY of the Seas. (No particular order)
Odyssey of the Seas – Cape Liberty, NJ – Nov 2024 – April 2025
- Decor- Odyssey of the Seas is absolutely stunning. She has very modern and sleek design with cool technology built in.
- Entertainment – Odyssey of the Seas has 2 signature production shows that are fantastic! I don’t want to ruin any surprises, but DO NOT MISS THEM – “Effectors” in the main theater & “The Book” in the 270 Venue. TAP FACTORY is another great show (but not exclusive to Odyssey).
- Cabin Storage and design – I love the Cabin spaces on Odyssey of the Seas. We stayed in an Oceanview Balcony + Junior Suite on Odyssey of the Seas! These cabins have great storage and a lovely design. (Be careful of the many obstructed balcony cabins on this ship, though. I do not recommend booking Balcony Guarantee on this ship.)
- Resort Style Pool Deck with Lime & Coconut Bar 🍹🥥 🌴 This pool deck has such a fun vibe that screams vacation! The drinks at Lime & Coconut fit the vibe! They knew what they were doing when they created this concept!
- Wide Range of Activities – the variety of things to do on this ship while you’re cruising along is like no other! You have BUMPER CARS, ROLLER SKATING, FLOWRIDER SURF SIMULATOR, RIPCORD BY iFly, NORTHSTAR CAPSULE, ZONE ZERO VR, ROCK CLIMBING WALL, Kids/Teen Clubs, trivia, live music, arcade, sports games scattered around, etc!
- Dining! The main dining room on this ship was excellent! Other included options are El Loco Fresh, Cafe 270, Sorrentos, Windjammer Buffet, and select items for room service breakfast! Specialty Dining ($) – Wonderland, Izumi Sushi and Hibachi, Coastal Kitchen for suite guests, Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, Playmakers Sports Bar, & Chops Grill. We dined at all of these except Wonderland.
- Adults-Only Solarium – relaxing and peaceful place at the front of the ship to spend seadays or sailaways, featuring pools, hot tubs, a bar and lots of seating options!
