If you’ve been curious about the new Royal Beach Club experience by Royal Caribbean International, I finally had the chance to experience it firsthand—and I’m sharing a full, honest review from a travel advisor and an introvert who values both relaxation and a well-designed vacation experience.

Whether you’re planning a cruise stop here (Nassau on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity) or deciding if the day pass is worth it, this guide will walk you through everything you need to know 👇

🚤 Getting There: What to Expect

Getting there is super easy and part of the adventure! Once you exit your ship with Royal Caribbean International, you’ll walk off the pier and head toward the port area/town. From there, just follow the clearly marked signs for the Royal Beach Club—they’ll guide you every step of the way.

You’ll make your way through the port (yes, this is where the shops are 👀), and then arrive at the transportation area where you’ll hop on a quick 5-minute boat ride 🚤 over to the Beach Club.

It’s a short, fun ride and really feels like that moment where you’re officially transitioning into “island mode” 🌴✨

🏝️ First Impressions of Royal Beach Club

The biggest standout? Variety of experiences.

This is not a one-size-fits-all beach day. Instead, it’s thoughtfully designed so every type of traveler can find their perfect vibe.

👨‍👩‍👧 Chill Pool & Beach (Best for Families)

This area was clearly designed with families in mind:

  • Zero-entry pool (super accessible)
  • Relaxed, welcoming environment
  • Great for kids and multi-generational groups

I saw so many families genuinely enjoying their day here, which is always a great sign.

🎉 Party Cove (High-Energy Beach Club Vibes)

If you’re looking for a completely different experience… think upbeat, beach club energy with a mix of current hits, throwbacks, and tropical remixes.

  • DJ music
  • Social, upbeat crowd
  • More of a “day club” atmosphere

Even though it’s not my personal vibe, I can absolutely see why people love this area. It looked like a ton of fun for those who enjoy that energy.

🌿 Paradise Pool & Beach (Perfect for Relaxation)

As someone who leans introverted, this was hands-down my favorite area.

  • Calm, peaceful atmosphere
  • Plenty of space to unwind
  • Ideal for reading, relaxing, or just soaking in the views

If you’re someone who wants a break from crowds or high energy, this is your spot.

One of the biggest perks? Food and drinks are included with your day pass (alcoholic or non-alcoholic, depending on which pass you purchased).

  • Wide variety of options
  • Something for all tastes
  • Consistently good quality

You will not go hungry here. Whether you’re a picky eater or love trying everything, there’s plenty to enjoy.

🤔 Is Royal Beach Club Worth It?

Short answer: Yes—for the right traveler.

What makes this experience stand out is the ability to customize your day:

  • Relaxation ✔️
  • Party atmosphere ✔️
  • Family-friendly spaces ✔️
  • Luxury upgrades ✔️

It’s rare to find a beach club that balances all of these so well.

✨ Final Thoughts

What I appreciated most is that I didn’t feel forced into one type of experience.

I could enjoy a peaceful, quiet morning at Paradise Pool… while knowing that just steps away, there was a completely different vibe for someone else.

That’s what makes the Royal Beach Club such a strong addition to the cruise experience—it truly offers something for everyone.


⚠️ Quick Heads-Up About Returning to the Ship

One thing I want to mention (just so you know what to expect!) when visiting the Royal Beach Club with Royal Caribbean …

When you’re ready to head back, you’ll board the ferry from the same area where you were dropped off. However, the return route is different.

🚤 The boat brings you back to a separate dock near the amphitheater in Nassau
🚶‍♀️ From there, you’ll walk back through the port area (shops/bars/restaurants) to reach your ship

I’ll be honest—this wasn’t my favorite part. I was wet, sandy, and ready for a shower, so walking through all of this felt a little inconvenient in that moment.

That said… 💭
It absolutely would NOT stop me from going back again.

The overall experience at the Royal Beach Club is still 100% worth it—but this is just one of those little insider details I always like to share so you can plan ahead (maybe bring a cover-up or quick-dry towel for the walk back 😉).
