Welcome Back to the Disney Wish blogs. Today, we are in Nassau!! We did a fun excursion and had lots of fun on the ship!

I started the day doing a walk around the whole ship, photographing it for my Disney Wish Photo Tour Blog (coming soon!). I like to do this early in the morning when the halls are quiet and pictures are not full of people.

While on the walk of the ship, we were sailing into the port of Nassau. The sun was starting to rise and it was beautiful!

When I arrived at the Cove Café, Deck 12 Aft, it was time for a coffee. I got a vanilla latte, and the barista put a lovely design on it.

After I was finished with my photo adventure, we headed to breakfast at 1923. This is complimentary. We were the first ones in and we requested a window table. I got a lovely plate of fresh fruit, Mickey Waffles, & the express breakfast.

Once we were done with breakfast, we got off the ship and headed into Nassau for some shopping. We had time before our excursion to shop & be have a quick lunch on the ship, prior to our excursion adventure!

At 12:40, we met our excursion group on the ship, at the World of Marvel restaurant. This excursion was booked through Disney Cruise Line Port Adventures.

We boarded the pirate ship ☠️ after a short walk from the ship. We sailed around the Harbour and down past Atlantis. Rum Punch, Fruit Punch, and bottled water were included. Chips and soda were available for purchase. During the sailing, the Pirates played dance music, told pirate stories, had mini shows, fed fish, and told pirate jokes. We were able to explore the pirate ship, inside & out. At the end, the Pirates took photos with the families. I would definitely say that this was family friendly. It was approximately 2.5 hours for the boat ride.

My husband, Chris, was onboard Independence of the Seas, at the same time and took these photos of the pirate ship as we sailed past his ship.

Back on the ship, it was time to get ready for the night’s activities of Disney Cruise Line’s PIRATE NIGHT. The characters are dressed in their pirate attire, the dinner menu is Caribbean themed, etc. Keep reading for the best part! (NOTE: They are not giving out the pirate bandanas on Wish sailings).

First activities of the evening were back to back trivia games at Keg & Compass. We got some loaded tots for a snack – they were $8 for a very generous portion. The first trivia was ULTIMATE DISNEY TRIVIA and the second was PIXAR TRIVIA. We did much better on Pixar Trivia.

Next, we went up to check-out The Rose bar 🌹 Nice, fancy atmosphere with great views. This is outside of the specialty restaurants of Enchante’ and Palo.

Arrrrg Matey! It’s Pirate Night, and time for a show on the deck! Here’s some photos from Mickey & Minnie’s Pirates in the Caribbean Party!

We left and headed to our pirate themed dinner at World of Marvel.

But wait….there’s more!! So much more Awesomeness! Pirate’s Rocking Parlay Party & Fireworks at Sea!!! This was an incredible deck party with a live band, 80s music mixed with pirate, & then of course the amazing fireworks show to music. This was at 9:45 pm for 30 minutes. PRO TIPS: Get there EARLY, it fills up quickly. Starboard side (right) of the ship has the best view for fireworks!
To end the night, we had a drink at Nightingales, listening to Disney Classics 🎶
