Disney Wish – Day 2 – 11/1/2022 – HOTHS – Day at Sea

Welcome back to the Disney Wish! Today we had a Day at Sea! It was a JAM PACKED day, we literally stayed busy from breakfast until 11pm. So much fun!

We started the day with a light breakfast at Marceline Market, the beautiful buffet area on the Disney Wish. Mickey Waffles can be found in Kid’s Corner. 😊

After breakfast, we headed to Luna Lounge, for 4 rounds of BINGO. No, we didn’t win anything. But, it was fun!

Look at Mickey’s Mainsail, featuring lots of Disney Wish Merch and INAUGURAL Wish Merch. We did a little shopping on this lovely sea day. PRO TIP: shop early on your cruise for the best selection.

We wandered up to the pool deck to see what was going on. Mulan was playing on the movie screen, so we watched a bit of that and had lunch outside.

Lunch today was from Donald’s Cantina, part of Mickey & Friend’s Festival of Foods. They serve “Create Your Own” burritos, bowls, & soft tacos. Once created, you top it off with all of your favorite salsas & hot sauces.

On Disney Cruise Line, you will find lots of craft activities on the Navigator (daily planner). These are included, no extra fees. For this activity, we were making MEMORY ORBS from the Pixar film “Inside Out”.

Even though this was 11/1, they had our Halloween festivities scheduled for today. This is a Halloween on the High Seas Sailing, so Halloween is extended throughout the 4 days.

It was time for all of the characters to do meet & greets in their Halloween costumes. They were so cute! We were able to meet all of these characters within about 40 minutes.  The characters are available for 15 minutes at a time, and people start lining up, about 15 minutes prior to their arrival.

Next up, “90s Disney Hits” live music at THE BAYOU Venue. We had some drinks & beignets. Delicious! I love this venue.  It’s beautiful.

At 6pm, it was time for our showing of THE LITTLE MERMAID! Do not miss this show, if you are coming on this ship. I have no idea how they store all of these awesome props/costumes for 3 broadway-style shows onboard. The LITTLE MERMAID was INCREDIBLE.

The show ended at 7 and at 7:15 we needed to be on Deck 12 to get our spot for the “Mickey’s Mouse-Querade Party”. This was so cute!! They handed out Halloween Candy bags as you entered the pool deck. Many people were dressed in their Halloween costumes!

I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE MUSIC.

After the show it was 8:10 and it was time for dinner at WORLD OF MARVEL! WOW! Another fantastic dining experience & interactive show onboard Disney Wish!

Chip & Dale!!!!

We’ve made it to the end of the night, but we have one more activity – MATCH YOUR MATE. This is for adults only in the Luna Lounge. This is similar to Love & Marriage but it was the BEST version I’ve seen in my 50 cruises. The hosts did such a great job and we laughed until our cheeks hurt. Wonderful end to our amazing day!!

Thank you so much for following along. Check back for more DISNEY WISH content!!
